Valpar, valpar och åter valpar
Inte nog med att vi själva har flera valpar i huset, så har vi dessutom köpt in en härlig valp från Åland, Eastfarm’s Zachary, som vi kallar för Gibson! Vi hämtade honom för tre veckor sedan och han är ett riktigt busfrö och så himla härlig! Vi ska alldeles snart ta en profilbild på honom så han får sitt egna album och så på hemsidan. Gibson är en frimodig herre som tyckte att helgens två utställningar var väldigt spännande och roliga, om än tröttsama. Med strålande kritik blev han bästa valp båda dagar och placerade sig även i finalen båda dagar BIS 3 på lördagen och BIS 4 på söndagen, så himla roligt! Tackar uppfödaren Malin Carlsson, Kennel Eastfarm’s, för ännu en toppenhane!
Kerstins valpar växer och utvecklas för varje dag. De spenderar största delen av dagarna utomhus vilket de älskar! De blir fort rastlösa inne i köket och är det riktigt dåligt väder så de måste stanna inne försöker vi aktivera dem så gott vi kan. I veckan tar vi nya bilder på dem och förhoppningsvis har vi då lyckats se så mycket av dem att vi kan göra vårt viktiga val med att placera rätt valp i rätt hem.
Calis valpar började öppna ögonen redan efter 9 dagar, tror det är rekord för oss! Det är så himla roligt när de slår upp ögonen, man får en helt annan relation till dem då! Livliga och jämna klättrar de omkring i valplådan och klagar högljutt när mamma Cali ligger utanför valplådan och retas. Cali älskar sina valpar och känner att hon måste vakta dem lite extra mycket från hennes mamma Alva som av någon anledning väldigt väldigt gärna vill in och kolla till så allt står rätt till. Det finns fortfarande hane kvar att tinga i Calis kull!
Lova går in i de sista dagarna på sin dräktighet nu. Det ska bli väldigt spännande att se vad som gömmer sig där inne. Det är onekligen party i magen och frågan är om det verkligen bara är två valpar där inne?

Even though we have plenty of puppies in the house, we have also bought a beautiful puppy from Åland, Eastfarm’s Zachary, whom we call Gibson! We picked him up three weeks ago and he is a real mischief and so lovely! We will take a profile picture of him soon so he will have his own album and so on the website. Gibson is a bold gentleman who thought that the two premiere shows this weekend were very exciting and fun, albeit tiring. With radiant criticism he became the best puppy both days and placed himself in the finals both days, becoming BIS 3 on Saturday and BIS 4 on Sunday! Kerstin’s puppies are growing and developing nicely for each day. They spend most of the days outdoors - which they love! They get restless rather quickly inside in the kitchen so if the weather is really bad and they have to stay inside we try to activate them as much as we can. This week we will take new pictures of them and hopefully we have managed to see enough of them that we can make our important choice by placing the right puppy in the right home.
Cali’s puppies started opening their eyes after 9 days, think it’s a record for us! It’s so much fun when they open their eyes, you get a completely different relationship with them! Lively and chubby they climb around in the whelping box, complaining loudly when their mother Cali is a bit of a tease lying outside the box instead of cuddling with her little ones. Cali loves her puppies and feels she has to watch out for her mother Alva who, for some reason, very much wants to check in and see to that everything is right.
Lova goes into the last days of her pregnancy now. It will be very exciting to see what’s hiding inside. It’s definitely a party in the stomach and the question is if there really are only two puppies in there?
